San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Building was built back before there were bridges crossing the bay, when ferries were way more important to the city.
When bridges replaced the need for so many ferries, and the public transport system migrated more from trolleys to buses, the Ferry Building saw less and less activity.
But now it has been restored, and is a registered landmark, and houses marketplaces, a food hall, and retail and restaurant spaces.
Luckily for everyone, the beautiful building was restored to former glory and given new life, and our Ferry Terminal tea towel shows it off, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.
Each 100% organic cotton tea towel measures approximately 26" x 26".
