about girls can tell:
Girls can tell is a Philadelphia-based creative screenprinting business run by Sara Selepouchin. Each item features original illustrations and diagram designs printed by hand, one at a time, in a smoke-free studio. If you have a question about the process, materials or products, please feel free to ask!
Living in this great city is the inspiration behind girlscantell - a bakery window, a light fixture, a great vintage dress, a construction site, old brickwork, a rusty neon sign. Armed with a degree in Architecture, Sara is constantly thinking about design. She believes that surrounding yourself with things that make you smile is what it's all about.
Girls can tell is proud to offer hand screenprints. It is important to note that each has slight variations, to make one of a kind awesomeness. Due to the nature of hand silkscreening, lots of factors effect how each individual print turns out. The aim of Girls can tell is to make lovely, amazing prints and only ship the best, but not every print is exactly alike or completely legible - that's what makes each one awesome and one of a kind.
education + experience + :

professional relationships + disclosure:
- I design, print and sell my line of housewares, girls can tell, as my primary occupation.
- I worked for Etsy.com for 18 months, but have never received any free services or special promotion of my shop from Etsy, Inc. in my four+ years as an Etsy seller (quite the opposite, in fact, as my shop was accidentally kept on the internal "admin shop - do not feature" list for 4 months after my termination). [2006-2010]
- I worked as a consultant for the Teachstreet, laying groundwork for their teams program [2009]

- I have a free lifetime account at postling.com, but I love it so much I'd gladly pay for it (best social media tool ever!). [2009-10]
